Mini-cricket at KEHS

U/13 BOYS CRICKET

The St Monica’s Diocesan School U/13 cricket boys team played against King Edward on 09 February. St Monica’s won the toss and elected to bat first in an inning of 15 overs. After two years of not playing cricket because of Covid-19, our boys had a fairly good start especially in bowling and fielding. However, more practice is needed in batting. St Monica’s narrowly lost 5 runs to King Edward in a highly competitive match.

Our boys had fun and enjoyed their first cricket match of 2022.

U/7 – U/9 CRICKET

The U/7, U/8 and U/9 boys and girls engaged in a friendly mini-cricket match against King Edward High school on Thursday, 10 February. All the learners were filled with excitement and played with lots of enthusiasm. We extend our gratitude to King Edward for the friendly match and to the learners for their great sportsmanship.
