The school hosted a sports festival on Saturday, 07 May 2022 at KEHS. The participating teams included Bergview, Focused, King Edward and St Monica’s in netball, rugby and hockey. I want to thank all of the staff members who worked so hard to make the day a success, as well as Liezl DuRant from KEHS and the learners who both assisted and participated so enthusiastically as well as the parents who were able to join us.
The day was a tremendous success and we would like to thank King Edward High School, for the use of their facilities, our sponsors; Ok Foods Sondela, Matatiele Superspar, Matat Wholesalers, Lizzie’s Kitchen and Housewives Fruit & Veg.
The participating teams and learners had a great day of sport displaying true sportsmanship and I would be remiss if I did not mention the umpires, coaches and referees, who went out of their way to assist each other and their teams, on the day. We are hoping to continue with this festival into the foreseeable future.
