Over the past weekend our RCL and prefects travelled down to Kinderstrand to take part in a leadership camp. The learners participated in a number of activities: the low & high rope, spiders web, life-line, beach challenges, climbing wall and the zip line. The facilitators kept the teams motivated and focused on the tasks in front of them. The learners all participated enthusiastically and some learners truly displayed excellent leadership abilities. At the end of each activity learners were given the opportunity to reflect on what they had done and how they can apply the skills they learnt to real life situations. The prefects and RCL left the camp feeling empowered to tackle whatever challenges await them within the year. We would like to extend our gratitude to Kinderstrand for their professional, well-organised services, the staff who supervised the learners, the bus driver who took us there and back safely as well as the learners for their impeccable behaviour throughout the entire weekend and lastly to thank our Heavenly Father for ensuring our safety and wellbeing at all times.
